A quarter of Agents send site referrals, delivering 60% click-thru

iVillage wanted to generate traffic and word-of-mouth (WOM) activity about the Makeover-o-Matic – a feature that lets users perform a virtual makeover using a real photo and experiment with new hairstyles, makeup, and accessories.

Agents were invited to upload their photo and have fun using the free tool to try out hundreds of new possible looks.

More than 15,000 users viewed the Makeover-o-Matic Frog detail page with over 85% clicking over to the Makeover-o-Matic site

Nearly 3,000 referral emails were sent with an email click-through rate of 60%

Over two-thirds of visitors who responded to the survey said they would likely visit the site in the future and 89% knew at least one person who would like the site
